DonationPay QuickStart Guide
Just received your 'Welcome' email from DonationPay? Not sure where to start? Follow the steps below to get your account set up and your first fundraising campaign off the ground.
1. Set Up Your First Payment Page
- Log in to the Portal then navigate to the Payment Pages tab
- Click the blue ‘Add a new payment page’ button at the button of the screen
- Follow these steps to set up your payment page, confirmation page, receipt, and social sharing options.
2. Update Your Account Settings.
-Navigate to the Account Settings tab.
-Use the fields provided to enter your organization’s info, and set your receipt default settings (the settings your donors will see on their receipts if page-specific receipts aren’t set up) and cardholder descriptor.
3. Set up users.
- Navigate to the Users tab and click the blue 'Add a new user' button at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter the relevant info in the fields that come up, then hit 'Save'. Note: you will need to remember the password to send it to your team member.
- Send the user credentials to your team member. We suggest using a template like this:
'I've set up user credentials to give you access to the DonationPay Portal. Your user account is set up under your full name and this email address: x@xorganization.org
Your current password is: XXXXXXXXX
Log in here to change your password and access our organization's data.'
