How will my organization be notified about donations made through DonationPay's service?
After a donation has been made through the DonationPay webpage a receipt is emailed to the donor and the organization. The receipt includes organization's information, donor's information, donation amount. Time and date are marked in the email itself, not directly on the receipt image.
How quickly are receipts delivered?
DonationPay's system sends out receipts every five minutes, so in most cases the donation receipt will be delivered to the donor within five minutes of donation. DonationPay utilizes Amazon's Simple Email Service (AmazonSES), the industry's leading email service provider. Amazon and DonationPay take various precautions to reduce the number of emails that are caught by spam filters, but some donors may find that their receipts end up in their spam folder. Additionally, in order to balance load on our servers, emails are held in a queue and sent out in the order that they were queued, so during some peak donation periods, emails may be delayed up to 24 hours.
How do I manage who at my organization is Bcc'd on the receipts?
Login to the DonationPay Portal and click 'Organization Info' in the horizontal orange menu bar. Once redirected to the Organization Info page, on the lower lefthand side of the page you will see a field titled 'BCCs', you may enter the email recipients here who should be copied on all donation receipts. Please separate email addresses using commas.
